In the shadow of a giant

Done and done.

I inked and colored this one... ended up a lot darker and lot less colorful than I thought to be honest. I just wanted to get the shadow to show up as a dark and oppressing as possible, and to get the scale done well. I suppose it was successful, kinda. Ah, I'd really want to see what an actual colorist could do with the lineart...

Quoting myself from the sketch version, some background on this: "So, I decided to draw big buildings in a planning spree I had for the next scene in Requiem, which is at a massive centre of government and bureucracy on Earth, the Green tower of CGA. It is called so for the green tint of the outer shell, as it is a combination of a farming tower, living areas, shops and government functions- although at this scale it would be best described as a vertical city. In this picture its base(or parts of it) can be seen on the upper part of the picture... so, it's HUGE. Not much of it is seen actually, so the main focus is on one of the "small" office blocks littering the base of the five tower-complex. Around it can be seen highways and smaller buildings, parks and such. The irregularily shaped buildings are farming towers which produce food for the surrounding areas. I wanted them to have an "organic" look to them, hence the shape... I'm pretty satisfied with it. The plane on the foreground is a small VIP shuttle that also features in the story, though just as a background object."
