Description
Hi!
Here's a little test page on a random story idea for a comic set in the years around the fall of Rome and start of the migration period. Swords, harnesses, cruelty and men with beards.
The speech bubbles are in finnish, the translation is roughly like this:
Panel 1:
Protect life... help the weaker... fight with honor... all in all, be a good man.
Count Rocco! I demand you to open this door immediately! King Klodvig has ordered your arrest.
Panel 2:
Do this and the gods will reward you in some way. It is a noble belief.
Belief in the existence of hope and to throw yourself on to the mercy of others.
Panel 3:
Look at me into my eye and ask yourself: is he that kind of a man?
A man, who sets his faith in the charity and hopes of others.
Panel 4:
I believe everyone is the master of their own fate.
By grasping some cold steel, you can mould it to your will. To this I set my faith.
------
That's that- tell me what you like of it!
Enjoy!
